The sunny Mt Cheeseman Ski Field Club has been the home to family skiing for over 80 years on Cockayne! Nestled above the native beech forests of the Craigieburn Range this ski club offers many beginner to intermediate runs off the two T-Bar tows and also a nursery tow for kids and first timers.
The ridge tow boasts amazing views out to the Main Divide and great access to off piste runs with the benefit of an easy link back to the safety of the freshly groomed. For the more adventurous a short hike to Mt Cockayne or out of Tarn basin access plentiful long untracked runs.
Cheeseman is perfect for families of all or mixed abilities with friendly staff, awesome learners facilities, ski in ski out accommodation and the sunniest deck on snow! You couldn’t ask for a better introduction to New Zealand Club Field skiing.
